Resources for your success

From the heart

Being supportive of my wife in her business took a whole new
twist recently. She is inspired to explode her business this year
and raise the bar on what is possible in her company.

Cheri is an accomplished leader and is extremely passionate
about her business and the Direct Selling profession.

I have always been supportive of her in whatever she needs to run her business. Even if that is giving her the space to do her thing, her way.

We all know that substantial income is achievable with a Direct Selling / Network Marketing business. We all are soaking up all that we can on our products, success, leadership, motivation, inspiration, etc.

What does it really take to achieve (or exceed) the results that we want?

Hint: It's usually not what you know or don't know.

Cheri has asked me to lend coaching expertise to create a
group coaching program that will guide motivated representatives in exploding their businesses. The coaching
and accountability will make the difference.

Take fitness as an example. Most all of us know we need to take better care of ourselves. We know why. We know how. We have equipment, gear, books, videos, etc. And, many of us don't do that which we say is important to us.

A coach (or, in the above example, trainer) shifts you into the space and energy of what you want, why it's important to you and gets you into the actions you're willing to take to achieve what you want. And they hold you accountable.

If your business isn't quite what you want it to be, coaching can make the difference. And, the time is now.

The most important part of your business is you. Are you enjoying your life or do you feel that there has to be more to it than what you're living?

Being in balance is key to being fulfilled in all areas of your life and business.

You may have time for your business, but is your energy where you want it? When you have time with your loved ones, are you fully present and enjoying the moment, or are you depleted or thinking you should be doing something else?

Being in balance is a series of simple shifts to align you with what is important in your life. And, get more out of it.

Words of Support

Showing up as your authentic self

Since the day my wife started her business, I have shared the journey with her and embraced the new world that she has entered into.

It is amazing to see the transformation that can happen when a woman (or man) recognizes the greatness that is within them and opens themselves up to a journey of enlightenment,
growth and discovery.

I have met many women who are simply phenomenal. They are clearly operating at a higher level of energy and it is empowering just to converse with them.

Observing some of these women in the presence of their significant other, there was a marked difference in their
persona and their energy.

All too often, the story is the same. She discovered an exciting new world and began to learn, grow and discover her power & greatness. He did not accompany her and couldn't relate to the person she was becoming.

The relationship started to strain as gap was becoming
apparent between them.

To keep the peace, and the relative status quo in their relationships, many women acquiesce and embrace the role of the person that they were.

Although that may work fine for the husband, it becomes increasingly frustrating for her as she regularly shows up as something she is not.

My friend Kim George, author of Coaching into Greatness, says "Being you is everything".

Essentially, we must live our lives as our authentic self. After all, if we're not being who we are, we're being who we're not, and that puts us out of integrity.

In addition, maintaining a role takes unnecessary effort and energy. Being yourself just flows.
If you are in the quandary of feeling like you cannot be your authentic self around your significant other, you may be wondering what you can do about it.

First and foremost, you must understand that it is not you. When another person has opinions, preferences, etc. that is their stuff - not yours.

Granted, a close partner can affect your energy with their moods, reactions, comments - to the extent that you allow them to do so.

It is imperative that you are able to be you, to think, act, and function in the way that is fullfilling to you. If you are not currently able to do that in your home environment, find other areas where you can be yourself. Whether with your friends, business meetings, clubs, etc., it is crucial that you have some space to be authentically you.

Making the shifts at home may take a little patience. Remember - things are the way they are because they got that way. And, you have some responsibility for the situation.

And, only some. Your part in a relationship is to show up in the right attitude and meet in the middle. Your partner must do the same. If you are having do more than that, then your relationship is out of balance, and some shifts need to be made.

Many men do not react well to change. Strange as it may seem, some men react negatively to the woman in their life becoming powerful and successful. One of the reasons is that they may feel you won't need them anymore.

A core principle of relationships and success is to keep 'us' in the forefront. You are all free to grow and change as your lives unfold. If you lose sight of what 'us' is all about, you may wake up one morning and feel like you're living with a stranger.

If you are open to exploring a bigger brighter world and your partner is not, there may be a potential to grow apart.

As you shift and embrace your greatness, show up as who you are in each moment. Be aware that, if you maintain an out of date role, you will be making it more difficult to show up as your authentic self as time passes.

The bottom line is that it is essential to be yourself. Show up as you, focus on the life & relationship you want to have, and allow things to unfold as they will.

It's all about you.
