A Note From the Coach

How is your journey unfolding this year?

One of the greatest gifts that I have experienced recently is to simply be in the moment.

Essentially to be my true authentic self and in a space of complete inner peace. Right here, right now.

Attaining this space does take a little practice and focus, yet the benefits are amazing. To be emotionally unattached to anything currently in your space, or that unfolds in your journey, is a total blessing.

This is one of the inherent gifts of the coaching space. I receive it from my coach and I empower others to find same when they coach with me.

This year is starting to get exciting for me. I am nearing completion of my book - Her Unfolding Journey - and look forward to new avenues unfolding for me.

My article in this issue is an excerpt from my book. One of the topics I feel is most crucial to your journey unfolding in a way that serves you.

It is the people that make a journey magical. As always, I deeply appreciate your being a part of mine.

Her Unfolding Journey - Excerpt from Chapter 5:
We Have Ignition

So, what’s the big deal about passion?

One of the first things that may come to mind is romance. While that is a definition of passion – and a very important one – there is much more to it.

Simply put, passion is the energy source that feeds the fire of anything that is exciting to you. And, it is already within you. Yes – you already have passion within. If you are not feeling it in this moment, the reason is that you’re not engaged with what is passionate for you.

Passion makes the difference between truly living and merely existing. If you had to choose between a vocation that was dull & unfulfilling versus one that lit you up like a Christmas tree just thinking about it, the choice is pretty obvious. Yet how many have jobs, lives or relationships that are mundane and unfulfilling?

Having a clear sense of direction is a blessing and allows you to align all aspects of your life. Yet, it is an unfolding journey. Although you have a feel for the destination – and can get excited thinking about that – it is the actual journey that matters. After all, if you are not enjoying the journey, does the destination really matter?

Passion is the energy that makes all aspects of your life exciting and energizing. Even if you encounter some spots that previously would have felt dull and uninspiring, your increasing space and awareness of passion empowers you to stay focused on the prize and keep the excitement going.

There is a simple litmus test for passion: How you feel. Notice how you react to the presence of certain people, places, activities, etc. What energy comes up in you? Is it a positive or a negative? Do you feel empowered or subdued? Are you willing to go the distance no matter what, or really don’t care?

Simply thinking about things can invoke – or suppress – your passion. Close your eyes and focus on that which you love most to spend your time on. That is a clear example of your passion.

The experiences of your life provide the ignition. To embody a more constant space of passion, choose that which you are more passionate about. And, let go of everything which you are not. (Which is just as, if not more, important).

His true divine self helped me make the changes of acceptance and allowance of wanting more in my life. I had realized over a few communications, “I ‘want’ to be happy like Mark!” I reached out to Mark…. And he graciously accepted me with palms up. As I began to talk and collaborate with him, I saw his light and wanted to be his equal… I wanted to be like my coach! His words and inspiration is part of my journey… and he has graciously let me be me… allowing me to find myself, not through him but through me with his guidance.

The first step is ‘You’ ... the second is letting yourself allow and accept Mark, coach you… Let it be… let it flow!
