Where has summer gone? Seems
like it is just flying by.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work from home and spend
time with my wife and son.

Unattached vs Detached
When you are in a close relationship your energy can easily be affected
by that of your significant other. For the most part, that is a good
thing – providing the energy is positive and the influence to
your energy is empowering to you.
If your other half does not share your beliefs, optimism and
enthusiasm, they can represent a negative energy that can have an
adverse affect on you.
You
alone
are responsible for the overall space that you are in. And, you can
have control over how much the energy of another affects you.
It is a given that your success is not dependent upon anyone else. If
you don’t own it and have it within you, it is not
going to happen. If you are dependent upon your partner for your energy
or wellbeing, you will rise when they do and fall when they
do.
Not a powerful space to be in. Don't abdicate your power.
When you find yourself exposed to excessive negative energy, it is a
natural response to insulate yourself from it. And, the obvious
reaction is to get away from it. Essentially, you are detaching from
the situation. Initially, this may be an essential step for you to stay
in your space.
It obviously won’t serve as a long-term strategy as you must
continue to share space in some form with your partner.
The opportunity is to simply not be attached
to your partner’s energy and responses. As you are
responsible
for what happens to you, they are responsible for them. If they choose
to see things negatively and allow their energy to be adversely
impacted, there is nothing that you can do for them.
When you are not attached, you are not impacted by the space they are
in, nor do you feel any responsibility for it. Yes, you care about them
and love them, and want to do what you can to help them feel better.
Which clearly defines the amazing person that you are.
By remaining in your best possible space, you optimally position
yourself to be effective in your endeavors and to be a source of
clarity and reason for your partner.
When you detach
from the
situation, you give a clear signal that you want to be apart from the
energy and the person – which does not contribute to the
overall
objective of living your best life possible right now.
Selfish as it may seem, it truly is all about you. The better space you
are in, the better you can build your business, interact with your
loved ones and enjoy your life.
