Sharing your Why

You know how important it is to be clear on your ‘why’. Without it, you have no purpose or direction for your business, or your life, for that matter.

The more connected you are to your why, the more inspired and passionate you are going to be about your business.

When you are striving to interest a reluctant spouse in your business, your why can be a great asset.

It is a given that, if you’re obviously frustrated with your business, he is not going to want to be a part of it. And, you know what a man will do when he perceives the most important person in his life to be struggling.

When you have the right why, it will give you a sense of passion, excitement and energy that others will notice, and be drawn to. Being deeply connected to your why will amplify that energy and it will radiate from you.

Although we are all responsible for the space we are in and how we respond to things, the energy of your significant other does have an influence on you. Thus, the better space you are in, the more appealing your ventures are to others.

If you significant other does not get your business, that is okay. Communicating from the perspective of the life that you want for you and for your family is really all that you need right now.

The first step of support is simply that your partner believes in you. They do not need to know anything about your business, the industry, products, etc. – they simply need to believe in you.

The more you believe in what you are doing, the more connected you are to your why, the more you will give your other half to believe in.

Although your why is a personal thing, when you do communicate on it, speak in terms of ‘us’ and ‘ours’. What you are doing is essentially engaging your partner on the benefits and the potential of what you are doing.

You feed your vision within yourself. It is just a matter of time before your inspiration ignites his and he recognizes the opportunity to walk alongside you and share the journey with you.
