And, what a great summer it was. My son lives out of state and spends summers with me. This was the first time in his 16 years when I did not have to leave for a job. Obviously, I still needed to work my business and support my wife in hers. The difference was that I was at home with people I love, doing what I love to do. How powerful is that? And, I owe it all to Direct Sales/Network Marketing and the inspiration I get from the amazing people I meet. I appreciate you all. This month, I will be accompanying my wife on the trip that she earned with her business. (There are advantages to being a supporter.) A few days ago my wife was out and about delivering some orders for her Direct Sales business. While at a store, she saw boxes of chocolate-covered raisins and felt like having a snack. Back in her Jeep she is wrestling with the industrial-strength plastic bag when it gives and tears all the way down. The treats go everywhere in her black-carpeted car. As its 90 degrees, she quickly retrieves the fallen delicacies and puts them in a bag for disposal later. (The manly 10-second rule did not apply here). And, she finally gets to enjoy the few pieces that didn't spew all over the Jeep. She relays the story to yours truly on the way home, to my great delight. (My wife and I are all about having fun). Yesterday morning, I went out to her Jeep to retrieve my stuff. I opened the passenger door and, when I leant in, guess what I saw? Yup - some chocolate-covered raisins. It's going to be a hot one again, so I removed them as best I could. I go back in the house with chocolate all over my hands. When my wife found out what happened, she was mortified! She could not believe that she had missed those few raisins. In this heat! She had cleaned up all the raisins that she could see - from where she was looking. My simple act of looking from a different side allowed me to see what she could not. If you are not seeing what you are wanting, try looking from a different angle. Who knows what you will find?
