A
Note From the Coach

I'm not sure if I'm ready for Fall.
I know there is nothing I can do about it - the seasons are changing and it's getting cooler.
I love being outside and would happily be in tropical weather year round.
My vision includes a beach front residence, probably on the Florida Gulf Coast.
It's empowering to know that, with our home businesses, we can achieve anything that we set our intentions upon.
Dream big.
I am continuing my mission is to reach another 1,000 women who desire more support from their partner. Please forward this email to
women you know who would like more support from their other
half and who want to succeed together.
If you are in Direct Sales/Network Marketing and can get to
Indianapolis on October 7th, 6:30-9:30pm, then you won't want to miss
the DSWA ELITE Rising Star Leadership event hosted by one of my
favorite people, Nicki Keohohou of the Direct Selling Women's Alliance.
There are limited spaces available - click here to register and reserve your seat.
Be great

Does your partner's fear affect you?
When you have a clear vision and
a solid belief in the path that you are on, you are not impacted by
external events such as the economy, price of gasoline, etc.
Yes, the factors may influence a shift in your strategy and your
business activities albeit they do not change what you are steadily
moving toward.
It essentially is a simple matter of faith, belief and trust. When you know that you are succeeding, regardless of what is in your current life experience, you are unstoppable.
Everyone is a believer when things are going great. It’s when
things get a little rough that your true beliefs are apparent.
Without belief and faith, you don’t have anything to depend upon and you will find yourself reacting and being desperate. Essentially, living in fear.
Every human being experiences fear at some point in there lives. It is one of our fundamental emotions and exists for a reason.
Way back in the caveman days, if you see a large predator coming
towards you, fear is what gets you into rapid motion in the other
direction. If you stuck around to analyze and communicate, the human
race would have died out long ago.
When fear inhibits you from doing what you can do for your business, it’s not a good thing.
If your partner is sharing the journey with you and shares your beliefs and vision, then you are a powerful force together.
What do you do if your partner is bogged down with fear over the economy, finances, etc.?
In a close, committed relationship the energy and emotions of your
partner will impact yours. If that energy is toward the negative, you
must do what you need to minimize how much of it you absorb.
The single most important activity is to take care of you.
And, on all levels. Physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
When you do this, you position yourself to be in the optimal space for anything in your day.
Next, be connected with your vision and your passion. This is what
gives you direction, energy and inspiration. Connecting with it
throughout your day enables you to stay in your optimal space.
From this position, you are now better aligned to choose the activities that will move you toward your dreams.
This centered space will also allow you to minimize the influence of your partner’s energy.
While communication is critical to an effective relationship, you cannot
communicate if emotions are running high, or fear is present. Do what
you can to establish a time to communicate when you are both in an
empowered frame of mind.
Yes, you may discuss some concerns – and that is legitimate.
It’s one thing to discuss something that you are uncertain about.
It’s quite another to be wigging out about it and getting into
knee-jerk react mode.
If you and your partner are unable to see eye-to-eye and establish a common basis and strategy, then it is decision time.
You either buy into their fear and go along with the random activities
that come out of desperation. Or, you stay focused on your journey,
stay true to who you are and keep your eye on your prize.
And, of course, this could further irritate your partner as they are
seeing the world as they know it coming to an end, while you are calm,
focused and happy. How do you think this will be interpreted by them?
Know that you are not
responsible for how they choose to interpret anything. Just because
you’re not joining them in pulling your hair out and yelling does
not mean you’re not aware of the situation. It does not mean that
you do not care.
It simply means that you are focused on what you want and you are actively doing what you can do.
As my friend and author Kim George says in her awesome book, Coaching Into Greatness,: "You are choosing your greatness over your fear at any given moment."
As your life is all about who you are being in this moment, it’s an obvious choice.

Barefoot Bootcamp
Here is what Carrie has to say about this event:
The Barefoot Boot Camp starts in just a few days, and I will close registration at noon on Wednesday,
so the team and I can prepare. I’m still getting emails though
from people who have questions. Women who want to know just one more
thing before they join. I don’t want anyone to miss out on the
chance to benefit, so we are going to hold a FREE LIVE call TUESDAY night
so anyone can find out more and have their question answered right
then. You’ll hear past Boot Camp Highlights, hear from our guest
experts AND enjoy recruiting info too.
